The rhythm section is in a hypnotic groove, the bass with an extraordinary gravely tone anchored in doom, while layered lead guitars dance and interweave in jams reminiscent of a hazy sun-baked Woodstock. Add in some existential lyrics which call to mind Albert Camus' The Stranger (which inspired The Cure's Killing an Arab) and what you get is a superb album. Summer of Love?... more like Summer of DOOM! Master of Alchemy

Bunsenburner works from a base of stoner metal but expands far past it, incorporating long, searching, searing jams. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 12, 2023
Pour moi, un des meilleurs albums de sludge-stoner de ma collection sans hésiter. Voix puissante et émouvante, guitares affûtées, compositions riches et soignées... Carton plein ! baudelagon
